John McAslan + Partners - Architecture that improves people's lives

I'm currently working on a proposal for 'Shout out for 78 Derngate Public Art Commission' in Northampton. They are looking for an installation for atrium space of this building.

McAslan are the architects who updated the contemporary extension. The Building was originally designed by Charles Rennie MackIntosh whos work has been a great influence to my life during my studies and to my working style.

I love the work that I have found that McAslan do they are very considerate to the surroundings . . . .

Open Studio - Saturday 11 Oct - Sunday 12 Oct 11am - 6pm.
The Main Exhibition Hall

The Open Studio 2008 was lots of fun, every one pulled together and put on a fantastic show. the opening night was really busy and the weekend started with such enthusiasm. The weather was gorgeous and the local residents visited to see what we all do in the studios.
There were badge making and bunting making workshops, the market stalls, and the revealing of the Salisbury Studio which had only been occupied by artists for two months.
