Hannah
Redden is a Textile Artist and Interior Designer who creates interior products from her
hand printed fabric and vintage finds.
She explores an eclectic mix of vintage, recycled fabrics and haberdashery
to create original home accessories and furniture.
"Being brought up in a creative family, I have been surrounded by fabric, threads, paper and paint from a very early age. This has instilled in me an intrinsic fascination with all things related to textiles.
My eclectic taste means I draw on a wide range of inspiration, I experiment with traditional screen-printing and modern digital print. I want to cause a sensual reaction and bring that into the home interior. My Current inspiration is anything and everything linked to Royalty, aristocracy and titles. It is the historical references from these that draw me to explore and depict days gone by with a modern take."
Hannah grew up on the South West coast of Scotland moving to Glasgow to further her studies and nourish her love of textiles, she completed her Ba Hons at The Glasgow School of Art, specialising in printed textiles for interiors. After graduating she spread her wings and travelled in India where she was inspired further by the vibrant colours and decorative textiles. After returning to the UK in 2006 Hannah relocated to Bristol with her partner and realised that she’d found her home in the South West. In 2008 Hannah Redden Textiles was established.

Showing her
work in galleries throughout Bristol and the South, Hannah has recently returned
to designing after having two years out to have her little daughter Freya (Who
is proving to be just as creative as her mother!). Hannah is now concentrating on new designs
and promoting her products. Expect to
see new products being launched in her shop soon.
